Mmmm...rare steak...
The rare steak was a killer for me!
Wellll, I know some women do avoid these things but that information IS a little outdated (except do avoid any alcohol). My doctor okay'ed soft cheeses (you can find pasteurized soft cheeses, too), and she said sushi was perfectly fine, too, as long as the restaurant was reputable!
When I was pregnant I completely lost the taste for a lot of sharp / strong tasting things I normally love like odd cheeses, pickled or brined things and most fish and seafood. And, weird for me, I started to like bread, cakes and cookies... something I never ate much of before I was pregnant.
The gagging at the first group went away like magic shortly after I had my kiddo!
And even though I lost weight the first trimester and a bit, shape changed... I remember being sad when my favourite shorts were uncomfortable that summer! And my comfy bra pinched.
