faux friday

this week is one of those weeks.
the end of it just could not come soon enough. i am literally counting down the hours to home time.
not that there is anything new, different or exciting about home time today... i just want to be at home.

my super exciting after work schedule will be as follows:

drive home trying to avoid road rage. (this shouldn't be too horrible since i'll be done at 3:30)
get home and have a nap
make dinner
eat dinner (this gets an extra line in the schedule because i am the slowest eater ever)
watch some mind numbing tv while thinking about the things i don't have the energy to do.
kick fernando when he creeps over to my side of the couch leaving me and the 2 dogs less than one cushion to share amongst ourselves
go to bed.

the rest of the weekend will be much more productive.
fridays are normally my "zombie night" and i am a slug all night, go to bed early then wake up and get shit done.
since this weekend is one of the long variety that means i get an extra day to "get shit done"
yay!
at least one day will be dedicated to sorting through the black hole. aka under the basement steps. there are things under there that i don't even recognize (thanks fernando) because fernando someone liked to "clean the basement by shoving everything, and i mean EVERYTHING either under the bed (which will be gone soon..... so you had better get anything out from under there that you might not want me to see) or under the stairs.
since i'm losing my sewing room i am going to be moving my sewing table to the basement where the bed used to be and moving the futon down there as extra seating and as an unwelcoming guest bed.... making room for the new baby's room upstairs.
well i'm not going to actually move anything... the men in my life will be doing the actual heavy lifting.
i thank them in advance for the use of their strong backs.

bump day - week 23

belly's growing...

before i got ready for work...

because clothes really seem to make it look bigger!

not the greatest lighting today for some reason... but i'm not feeling like taking any more pictures to try and make it better.

feeling more and more movement... the sea monkey has been swimming up a storm the last little while!!

i'm starting to make some BIG to-do lists... look out fernando - yours will be ready soon!
i think i will easily be able to get most of the stuff done that i need to do in the next 2 months and wrap up the loose ends in september. my goal is to be ready (as ready as we'll ever be) by the beginning of october.
the first huge project will be moving all of my sewing and craft stuff out of the sewing room because it is becoming the baby's room.
i still haven't decided on a crib but i have the dresser and chest of drawers and hopefully the rocking chair so once the baby's room is empty of crafty things i am going to start buying some of the other things that we'll need like the stroller and car seat.

since my last doctor's appointment i haven't gained much weight - 1 lb according to the scale this morning. my belly (and boobs) have certainly grown since then... so i don't know where its coming from! my next doctor's appointment is July 8th so we'll see what i'm at by then. last visit she told me that i should be glad i'm not gaining lots of weight so i'm just going to go with it.

tasty tuesday

well today's post is not something difficult, and not even really a recipe.
if you can follow the 3 step directions on the box of cake mix then you will do very well at this.

i haven't made these yet this summer (for some reason i only ever make them in the summer) but once i manage to scarf down all the goodies i baked this past weekend i will get right on it.

the hardest thing about this is choosing the flavor of cake mix to use.

what could possibly be so awesome that involves a cake mix? well other than these freakin awesome cookies here?

i'll tell you.

Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes!!

how can you not fall in love with these??

they're really easy. they don't keep for long because the cones get soggy, but i never had them last that long to find out.

here's what you'll need to do:

pre-heat the oven to 350
make the cake mix according to the directions
fill the cones 3/4 full
bake for 15-20 minutes

if you have to do 2 batches like i do because they can't all fit in the oven at once, make sure you don't fill the second tray of cones until you're going to put them in the oven. they get soggy and are not as good.

makes 18-24 (depending on how big the cones are)
sometimes i make a pan of normal cupcakes and 12 cones... depending on what i'm making them for. i don't want to have too many extra cones because they'll get soggy.

decorating... once they're COMPLETELY cooled and not a moment sooner...
the sky is the limit! a fun thing i like to do is ice them and then gently roll them in sprinkles or chopped peanuts.
when i've been feeling really ambitious i have tossed them in the freezer for a bit, and then dipped them in chocolate and then rolled them in sprinkles/nuts like a fancy ice cream cone. that time i made banana cake and with the chocolate and peanuts they were SO tasty.

here's my secret... because i am totally klutzy and am almost positive there is NO possible way i could get these into the oven or back out again without knocking at least half of them over i have a little trick. buy a couple of big foil roasting pans (they were 2 for $1 last time i bought them at the dollar store) and flip them upside down on jellyroll pans (i like the sides because then i can't push the roaster off the cookie sheet and dump them all)
then comes the fun stabbing part.
take a knife and cut an X for each cone. put the cone in and you can fill them, bake them, decorate them and transport them without casualties!

23 weeks - still a papaya??

apparently there are 2 weeks of papaya on the fruit chart.
interesting.
i guess that since papayas can be a range of sizes i will let it go.
too bad i wasted all my papaya facts last week... looks like you'll be stuck with just my crazy ramblings today. lucky you!

the sea monkey now weighs a little over one pound/ 500 grams and measures about 11.4 inches/ 29 centimetres from crown to heel.
hearing is well established and she/he can make out a distorted version of my voice, the beating of my heart,  my stomach rumblings, and the dogs barking. maybe getting used to the dogs barking now will mean sleeping through that later? wishful thinking?

i have been feeling pretty great. i really have nothing to complain about. i sleep more than i used to and i get tired quickly if i try and over do it but that is expected. i just have to pace myself. growing a sea monkey is hard work! i think the worst thing right now is that if i fall asleep in the wrong positing i will stay like that all night and wake up with achy ribs. i'm so glad i decided to "train" myself to start sleeping on my side before i actually had to because as a strictly stomach sleeper it would have been really hard to just switch when i had to. this way i was already fairly comfortable on my side hanging onto my body pillow like a koala bear. i need to hang on tightly to my pillow or it gets claimed by one of the dogs and sometimes even fernando will try and steal it. since he comes to bed around the same time as i get up its not that big of a deal that he steals it... but when my zoo takes over my pillow while i'm trying to sleep i don't appreciate it.

i'm feeling lots of movement but still not strong enough for other people to feel (other than poor draco) so far but i don't exactly let people touch me so other than fernando nobody really gets to try.

another thing... i've been on a mad baking spree. i don't know if its the gloomy weather we've had lately or if this is me beginning to nest.... i have been cleaning while i bake. i usually read while my goodies are cooking...
not lately.
yesterday i accomplished a LOT. i also finally tried the blueberry lime muffins from here http://kabukikreations.blogspot.com/2011/05/tasty-tuesday-stolen-recipe.html

they turned out deliciously but i may or may not have been in a hurry to get them out of the pan and wrecked a few because they were too hot to take out the pan. i love the silicone muffin pans, but when making muffins with fruit in them they need to sit and cool for a bit or they lose their bottoms.
don't worry.
i ate the decapitated muffins to hide this tactical error.

as requested...

it is not tuesday therefore i am messing up my schedule... i'm walking on the wild side today. posting a recipe on a day other than tasty tuesday... OH MY!

Rhubarb Cake

what you'll need:

1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup margerine
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 stp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup scalded milk
2 cups rhubarb

what you'll need to do:

cream together brown sugar, eggs, margerine and vanilla
add dry ingredients alternately with milk (i dump everything together at the same time... i'm impatient. you get a bit of a cloud when you start mixing but it has never made the cake turn out differently)
add 2 cups rhubarb to batter
pour onto jelly roll pan (cookie sheet with sides)
sprinkle with 1/2 cup white sugar and 1 tbsp cinnamon (yes this cake needed more sugar) its delicious. don't skip this in an attempt to make the cake healthier. its cake. its not supposed to be healthy. there is fruit in it. that is enough healthy.
it should make you feel guilty when you sit and eat half of it because you just can't stop. might i remind you...its cake!!
bake at 350 for 25 minutes.

ENJOY!

PS. this cake is also very delicious with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

old vs new

as a previously small boobed A cup girl the idea of a D cup bra was unfathomable to me. well maybe as a hat...  i just thought that a D would be WAY too big for me... well sea monkey has other plans for me i guess.
now that i've got them, a D cup doesn't seem that massive... well, actually they do seem massive... its like looking down a stranger's shirt.
now the real question is what will happen later? fingers crossed that gravity doesn't hate me and they either stay big or go back to somewhat normal. i would be happy to land somewhere in the middle of the before and after... a B or C would be nice... but i guess i'll just have to wait and find out. and rest a bit easier knowing that no matter what happens even if its not pretty (i'm picturing tube socks here) it can be fixed if i decide thats what i want.

comparing an old bra to a new bra i think the old bra could be swallowed whole by the new bra

my summer bucket list...

inspired by my lovely friend here i would like to present you with my summer bucket list.

this is our last summer as a couple of two. next summer will be our first summer as a family of 3.
exciting, YES!
a little scary... YES!
how will we adjust? only time will tell.

sooooo.... what would i like to do this summer....

  • go to drumheller. i am a geek. drumheller has been one of my favorite places to visit since i was a kid. GEEK HEAVEN! so many fun things to do! and there's Old Grouch's Cozy Café... we started going there as kids and the place is still there and serving delicious homemade food. i give it 5 stars.
  • win the battle with my half dead front yard and end the summer with a green lawn.
  • go swimming. its been ages!
  • go to the mountains i haven't been to the mountains for 7 years. they're not even that far. i have no excuse for it. just a day trip is fine. i don't need to stay... just pop by for a look.
  • get everything ready for the sea monkey. i want the house to actually be totally ready and not be scrambling last minute to get things done.
  • get maternity photos done
  • take baxter swimming. i want to know if he can. i am positive the pug will sink like a rock but i have high hopes for baxter!

i am sure that i could sit here and write this list all day but i am going to stop now because if i make my list too long i won't stand a chance of actually completing it.

tasty tuesday- happy first day of summer edition!

Cherry Limeade

(makes 4-6 servings)

Ingredients:

2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup water
1/2 cup lime juice (approximately 4 1/2 limes; use the remainder of limes for garnish)
1 1/2 cups pure cherry juice (no sweeteners added)
2 cups club soda
Instructions:
- Begin by dissolving the sugar in the water over medium heat to create a simple syrup. Set aside when done to let cool completely.
- While the simple syrup is cooling, juice the limes.
- When the simple syrup has cooled pour that in a pitcher, add the lime juice, cherry juice and club soda. (Do not add the club soda until ready to serve.)
- Stir all together to combine well and serve immediately over crushed ice or cover and refrigerate.

found this great recipe here:

http://shewearsmanyhats.com/2010/07/cherry-limeade/

now if only i knew where to find unsweetened cherry juice. i really want to try this!

22 weeks... let me teach you something... about papayas.

a papaya.... well i looked up some info on papayas and have determined that this must be a hawaiian papaya i'm brewing... mexican papayas can weigh up to 10 lbs. i'm only 5 months pregnant. NO WAY can the papaya be 10 lbs already.

here are some little tidbits about papayas....

-The papaya is the fruit of the Carica Papaya tree.
-It is native to southern Mexico and Central America and is now cultivated in many tropical regions.
-The fruit sometimes used to be referred to as a "tree melon." In Australia it is called Papaw or Paw Paw.
-Today there are two varieties of papaya, Hawaiian and Mexican. The Mexican papaya can weigh as much as ten pounds while the Hawaiian usually weighs about a pound. It is the smaller Hawaiian papaya that is found in most produce aisles.
-The papaya was introduced to Hawaii in the early 1800s. Today, Hawaii is the only U.S. state that grows papayas commercially.
-In the 1990s, two genetically modified varieties of papaya were introduced to Hawaii, making papaya the first genetically modified food to be introduced into the United States food supply.
-Unripe, green papaya fruit and the leaves of the papaya tree contain an enzyme called papain. Papain has been used as a natural meat tenderizer for thousands of years and today is an ingredient in many commercial meat tenderizers.
-Its tenderizing properties are also being applied to the human body. Injections of papain enzyme are given to treat herniated discs. When Harrison Ford suffered a ruptured disc on the set of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, he was treated with papain injections.
-Papain has other health benefits. it is also a natural digestive aid and can be applied topically in an ointment to treat burns, rashes, and cuts.
-In many parts of the world, unripe papaya has been used for centuries by women as a natural contraceptive and to induce abortion. Modern research has confirmed that unripe papaya does indeed work as a natural contraceptive and can induce abortion when eaten in large quantities.

-In addition, research has found that papaya seeds have contraceptive effects in male monkeys.
-Tea made from papaya leaves is consumed in some countries as protection against malaria.
-The Papaya Fruit Fly is a threat to the fruit.
-The seeds of the fruit resemble peppercorns and are edible. They can be ground up and used as a substitute for black pepper.
-Papaya leaves are steamed and eaten in parts of Asia.
-The bark of the papaya tree is often used to make rope.

-Ripe papaya is usually eaten raw. Unripe papaya can be eaten if cooked and is used in many sauces and dishes around the world.
-Papaya contains latex (the white sap that oozes out of an unripe papaya) which can cause an allergic reaction in people with a latex allergy. The greener (more unripe) the fruit is, the more latex it contains.
-As with eating too many carrots, eating too much papaya can cause carotenemia, the yellowing of the soles of the feet and the palms. It is temporary and goes away once excessive amounts of papaya are no longer being eaten.
-When buying papayas, look for ones that are mostly or completely yellow and give slightly to pressure. Green, hard papayas are unripe and will never ripen properly.
-A small papaya contains about 300% of the recommended daily amount of Vitamin C.

WHO KNEW?!? there is a lot of papaya information out there.

Back to me.... since i know that some of you reading this might be more interested in my actual update than learing about fruit...

I am 5 months pregnant. WOW.
it has flown by so quickly so far! i have given myself 3 more months to get everything done at the house that needs to be done because i don't want to waddling around trying to rearrange furniture 8 months pregnant. as of October 1st whatever i didn't get done is either going to be done by someone else or wait until after the baby arrives.

this past weekend i took a little roadtrip to Lethbridge to visit the lovely Tompkins Family... well ok it was mostly to visit Tasha, but it was nice to see everyone. 5 hours is a long drive now. one bathroom stop on the way there (thanks to the coffee and silly amount of water i drank on my way there) and straight home no stopping. i LOVE having a big bladder. i am going to be missing it badly as the sea monkey grows and squishes it!
Another thing i learned this weekend is that i can no longer sleep anywhere. sea monkey brewing is hard work and i have become a little high maintenance with my sleeping conditions. i apparently NEED my bed with MY pillows or my ribcage starts to feel like its going to burst open. thankfully it only lasted for a day... but i'm sure that's just a taste of what's coming. GOODY.

I want this in my back yard. NOW
Tomorrow morning I am on a mission to make it mine.

DIY Day...

well it's thursday. i have decided that today is DIY day. no reason. just because.

i found this super awesome tutorial that i can't wait to try. only problem is that i never drink pop. or anything that comes in cans. i'll have to beg my friends to save me their pop tabs!

to learn how to make this fantastic lamp go HERE
i think it would make a great hanging lampshade as well.
now if only i had enough pop tabs to make one!

if you would be so kind as to collect pop tabs for me i would appreciate it!

bump day - week 21 - you kicked my dog edition.

you might wonder what the hell i'm talking about with a title like that.... ok i admit.... its slightly strange.
well i guess i'd better let you in on the details here.

yesterday afternoon i was enjoying my afternoon nap (i LOVE my naps and LIVE FOR THEM!!) and shortly before it was time to get up i was being snuggle attacked by Draco.

for those of you who don't know... this is draco.
hard to say no to cuddle time with this smelly little bugger
he pretty much can convince anyone to love him. he's sneaky that way.
even those people that "aren't really dog people" fall for his sad face and end up goo goo for him.

well when he wants to cuddle he is pretty determined. he decided that since i was snuggling my body pillow that the best place for him to be was right inbetween me and the pillow. so first he burrowed his way under the blankey and then started out on top of the body pillow, then realized that it wasn't the best spot... so he wiggled his way between me and the pillow. he was right up against my stomach and the sea monkey decided it was time to wake up and start moving around.
draco's reaction was PRICELESS.
first he froze.
then he looked at me. really confused.
he couldn't figure out what was going on.
i'm not going to lie... he's pretty easy to confuse.
then he got another good kick... or maybe a punch.... or maybe some sort of acrobatic flying off the top rope wrestling move... i'm not really sure.
his tail went down (which he only does when he's passed out snoring or terrified)
and he bolts.
i haven't seen him move that fast unless its to get to something i've dropped on the floor that he's not supposed to eat.
then i laughed. and laughed a little more.
those two had better learn to get along!

well enough about my baby abusing my dog.
its bump day so here's the pictures!
LOTS OF PICTURES!!

and for good measure.... this is what i see looking straight down.

Mini Oreo Cheesecakes

this recipe is one i've made for so many potlucks i can't even keep track. BIG HIT every time.

here's what you'll need...

2 pkg. (250 g each) Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
12 Oreo Cookies
3 squares Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate

here's what you'll need to do...

Heat oven to 350°F.
Beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating on low speed after each just until blended.
Place 1 cookie in bottom of each of 12 paper-lined muffin cups. Fill with batter.
Bake 20 min. or until centres are almost set. Cool. Refrigerate 3 hours. Melt chocolate as directed on package; drizzle over cheesecakes. Top with whipped cream if you want to... or chunks of broken oreos... or whatever you like!
enjoy

21 weeks!

time is really flying!
this week is banana week.

i am guessing this is a length comparison because if the sea monkey is as skinny as a banana i had better go find something to eat RIGHT NOW!

i'm feeling more and more movement as the sea monkey grows and soon fernando will be able to feel it too! i can feel it when i put my hand on my stomach when the baby is practicing swimming around but so far fernando hasn't been able to feel it. it's easier for me because i can already feel it so i know exactly where to put my hand.

just wanted to let you all know that i remembered to shave BOTH armpits yesterday. i have also remembered to wear shoes when i leave the house every day for a week.
if you don't have a clue what i'm talking about... here's a refresher.
http://kabukikreations.blogspot.com/2011/06/baby-brain.html
and here
http://kabukikreations.blogspot.com/2011/06/bump-day-week-20-my-chin-isnt-fat.html

this week my goal is to start making lists of all the things i need to get done.
then the list of things i'd like to finish before the baby.

i will stop and pick up some rubbermaid tubs today on my way home from work and hopefully get some more organizing done. my goal is to get rid of all the random boxes in the basement and replace them with neatly stacked rubbermaid tubs. in doing this i will be getting rid of a LOT of stuff that has been burried under the basement steps since i moved into my house. once the old stuff that i don't need is gone i will have room for more of my craft stuff that is being displaced from the sewing room and the rest of the house to make room for the baby. i want to get most of that sorting done before i get too big and have a harder time getting through it. wish me luck!

i just couldn't resist this one... bananaphone anyone?

testing.... testing.... 123

sadly i've been having some technical difficulties and the last 2 email posts i've done have disappeared into the vast black hole of the interweb... BUMMER.  yesterday's was a good one!
this is just a test to see if i've gotten my issues resolved (the blogger issues that is) and my email posting is back up and running.
fingers crossed!

the thank you's begin...

last night i went over to my friend Carol's house to go through and borrow some maternity clothes. i got some great stuff and now i won't be needing to buy much more for clothes unless i get super massive. and i'm hoping that doesn't happen! then to make it even more awesome, she told me i could keep it all and also gave me a bunch of great toys, a wipe warmer, and a bumbo too!
I've already gotten a few other things but since the baby room isnt ready yet i don't have a lot of room for stuff yet. after this weekend i'm going to start packing up all of my sewing stuff and fabric to get it ready to relocate down to the basement once the spare bed is out of way. a big thank you to my family in advance for helping move everything since i am not allowed to lug around heavy furniture right now.

bump day - week 20 - the my chin isn't fat edition.

some of you may know that fernando made a MAJOR blunder on the weekend... he told me my chin had gotten fat.
i have deliberately not cropped my pictures this week so you all can see the chin in question. i totally accept that it could very possibly get fat... but it hasn't yet!!

and since today i took more pictures than usual trying to get a good one with my face/chin in it... here are a couple more.

front view
baby brain is not getting any better... today when i was in the shower i forgot to shave one of my armpits. so the right one is nice... left one, not so much.
at least its not visible like the day i wore my slippers to the gas station with a sun dress.

last night i NEEDED mashed potatoes. i woke up from my nap and i wanted mashed potatoes for dinner. mashed potatoes with corn mixed in and my mom's super delicious rhubarb relish. this may sound gross but it is not a new thing for me... i've been making what we called "mush" since i was a kid. it used to drive my mom nuts (probably still makes her shake her head) but if we had a roast and mashed potatoes for dinner the only way i wanted to eat it was everything all mixed up into a big ugly mess . i'm pretty sure my dad does it too. he is definitley not pregnant.... so it can't be that weird. right?

i haven't made mashed potatoes at my house since christmas of 2009. good grief they're a LOT of work! first washing the potatoes... then peeling the potatoes (i of course didn't have big potatoes so i had to peel for what seemed like forever)... then cutting up the potatoes.... then waiting for them to boil long enough that i could attack them with the potato masher... exhausting! i am going to go back to my old ways... stealing mashed potatoes from my parents house if i want them. my mom always makes a HUGE pot of them and it is just so much easier to scoop them into my ziploc dish (or bag... yes i will put mashed potatoes in a bag) and take them home to warm up the next day. maybe i sound like i'm being lazy about this... but to me i think its just smart!

20 weeks....

fruit of the week.... the cantelope!!

i'm guessing its a very small cantelope, but wow! its getting bigger!!

Its hard to believe i'm already half way done brewing this sea monkey... the first half of this pregnancy has really flown by. lots to get done before baby arrives though so i'd better get to work!
Right now the sea monkey is about 6.5" long and gaining weight quickly. i can't wait until fernando can feel the baby kicking. i'm feeling like there is an gymnastics routine going on inside me whenever i lay down or sit still... but so far the baby's not big and strong enough to be felt by touching my stomach. Soon.

yesterday was my year end dance recital and as much as i love going to tap class every week, it has been getting harder and harder to gather the energy to tap with enthusiasm. things that i could do without breaking a sweat a few months ago now seem like monumental activities to tackle. the sea monkey has drained my endurance.
i am looking forward to our year end get together on wednesday though... meeting at Original Joe's means yummy chicken fingers and sweet potato fries for me! and maybe even a virgin caesar. i know. i'm a total party animal. and this on a WEEKNIGHT! oh the craziness.

Saturday, June 4, 2011

this shrimp could kick your ass!

Spending some quality time on my couch watching discovery world hd with the dogs I saw the prettiest shrimp ever! Draco totally wanted to fight it. Let's face it... He can use all the exercise he can get. Let him run back and forth from the couch to the tv and hop around on his back legs. He needs it.
Back to the shrimp though. It punches stuff. HARD. I just watched it punch a crab so hard that the crab's legs flee off. If the shrimp was human sized it could punch through concrete with it's bare hand.
Fierce as it may be, this shrimp is gorgeous! Check it out!!

foto friday - sea monkey edition

Sea Monkey's first ultrasound was yesterday afternoon!

unfortunately i don't have a scanner at home any more so this picture i took with my iphone will have to be good enough for now.
the weird coral colored stripe is the reflection of my purse that was sitting on my lap when i took the picture with my phone while i sat at the lab waiting for my turn to get blood taken.

baby brain

either i am becoming senile or i am officially admitting to suffering the infamous BABY BRAIN!

i'm guessing i am not old enough to blame this on senility, so i'm going to blame this on the sea monkey.

sunday morning when i went to get groceries i had to stop and put gas in my car. i got out of my to pump the gas and i happened to look down. i was wearing my slippers with a sun dress.

i have forgotten to put shoes on and left the house a total of three times now.

let me clarify here how there is NO WAY to confuse my current slippers with shoes. in the past i have worn some slippers that could pass for shoes in a pinch.... not so much the case right now. they are furry leopard print booties. not such a great look with a little black sundress. i had to drive home and get some real shoes because all i had in my car were garden flip flops with chunks of mud on them, 5" red snake skin stilettos, and zebra print rubber boots. none of these really worked for grocery shopping and going barefoot to superstore is not really an option. can you say EWWWWW!

i think i might put a sign on my door that reminds me to "look down" before leaving the house.
i fear the day that i can no longer see my feet... who knows what i'll wear out.

foot slippers maybe?

bump day - week 19!

almost half way there!
i apologize for the bad wardrobe choice today... the dress i'm wearing was a bit tricky to get a good picture in. OOPS! i had all intentions of taking pictures in something else, but the extra 15 minutes of snuggle time with baxter ended up higher on the priority list this morning.
my belly is getting bigger... slowly but surely.
tomorrow is ultrasound day and i'm excited to finally SEE what's going on in there! i hope the sea monkey puts on a good show tomorrow, but keeps it's legs closed... i want it to be a surprise!

icognito...

and there it is!
